When it rains it pours!
First up, news from Debby herself. I happen to work in the TV information industry, so I can keep everyone posted on when VH1 is going to air the special.
So I have new news ... VH1 has contacted me to be apart of a special they are doing that will air in Feb 2006. The subject is 100 Greatest Teen Stars and I made the list. (big grin) Gonna finally do an on camera interview ... Yikes!! I tape it October 28th.
Secondly, a great guy named Stuart has opened up the Waxwork Fansite. Head on over and show your support!!
01/12/2005
Debby recently let me know her site has undergone a revamp and now includes information on her two new business -- DF Graphics and I Love Stationary. Head on over and scope it out!
11/13/2004
Could Muffy St. John be making a comeback?
Debby has mentioned a script for a sequel to April Fool's Day
has been making the rounds. While no funding or cast has been
announced, she has officially given her letter of intent
stating her desire to participate in it. She calls the script "really
funny and surprisingly good" -- more as this develops. Debby has also
provided this new - very Muffy-esque headshot!!

05/24/2004
Wowzers -- has it been this long?!
At any rate, I am VERY pleased to pass on the following information. Debby's
official site is back up and better than ever!!! Check it out:

Thing are pretty quiet at the moment, so I just thought I would remind everyone Waxwork came out on DVD today. I hope you have better luck finding it than I did. Best Buy has it on their website for 9.99, but they only seem to get 1-2 copies in the actual stores. Good luck! :)

I've seen noticed Waxwork is scheduled for DVD release on 9/23 in a special "2-pack" with Waxwork II: Lost in Time. The good news is the price seems to be cheap and the bad news (aside from Debby not appearing in the sequel) is it's going to be a pretty bare bones release.
07/14/2003
DVDFile.com has posted a sneak preview for Valley Girl. Be warned it does take a cheap shot at our pal. Normally, I would keep quiet about this kinda thing, but honestly people should be allowed to do whatever they want -- no matter if they are famous or not.
04/28/2003
I know many, many of you have been waiting for this!!! DVDFile.com has official news on Valley Girl and other great 80s films coming to DVD!.
04/27/2003
Our old friend Kevin Clark was kind enough to send me a
promo photo from Valley Girl.
Enjoy!

Sorry about the apparent silence lately. It seems I had some issues with storage
space at my host, but that problem is fixed now.
I've gotten a few emails about Debby's site, but I'm afraid I just don't have
any information. I'm sure when it returns she will let us all know.
12/14/2002
Well, things have been pretty quiet lately. I did get three great photos in the
mail today.
(Oops! It seems I never uploaded the corrected links -- my bad)
10/24/2002
An eagle-eyed fan has discovered the film is currently
available for those with Region 2 PAL DVD players. Sadly since we here in
America are in Region One, the DVD is not playable on our players.
09/28/2002
Things have been pretty hectic here. I haven't forgotten about the DVD scans,
just haven't had the time.
A coupla interesting posts over at the message board have resulted in the following photos:
09/05/2002
I hope everyone remembered to pick up their copy of April Fool's Day on
9/3! I should have some scans up in the next coupla days.
While during my daily surf over at DVDFile.com, I noticed they had the following review.
06/18/2002 06/24/2002 Ahhh...Amy and KC... you guys rock...I
remember both of you.... Glad to hear you enjoyed the evening. I think it was
kinda different. Martha, Cameron, myself, Fred Elms and Heidi Holicker
commentated through the whole film. The only thing that got to me was the
auditorium was so bloody cold. Didn't you think so Amy and KC? It was hard to
enjoy myself. I was shivering like crazy. And I was a little nervous, especially
at the end when we were answering questions on how VALLEY GIRL changed our lives
held in the lobby. When I have to be personal I get nervous. If it is about
others and not me .... I am okay. That's just me. It was great seeing everybody.
The only two that did not show were Nic and Fred (played my dad). Everyone was
there. Lots of hugging and laughing going on. Thanks. Debby!
Over at the boards, Debby
mentioned she is founding a new company called le crible.
Over at the boards,
Debby had this to say about the LA Filmfest
reunion.
Found out about Michelle Meyrink.. She has three kids, married and living in
Canada. Has no aspirations of being an actress at this time and sent her love to
all of us.
06/18/2002
Over at the boards, Debby added a few more names to LA Filmfest
appearance. Scheduled to appear with the previously announced guests are
co-star Cameron Dye
(Fred), cinematographer Fred Elmes
and musical director Michael Papale
. There will also be a commentary and Q&A session. Let's hope this will
all make it to the (hopefully) forthcoming DVD.
06/11/2002
Just a reminder to everyone...
Real Genius
is released on DVD today. Deborah doesn't really have a leading role in the
film, but it's still a gem of a flick. I've added six screen captures and I hope
revamped "SIGHTS" into a smoother presentation.
05/31/2002
I've got some more information on that LA Filmfest
appearance and Valley Girl
presentation. It's currently scheduled to take place at 7:30pm at the DGA
Theatre. Scheduled to appear along side Debby are director Martha Coolidge
and costars E.G. Daily
(Loryn) and Heidi Holicker
(Stacey).
05/26/2002
Do you live in the LA area? If so, I have good news for ya! Check out this newsbyte
from Debby's site:
Deborah, along with other cast and crew members, will be appearing at the Los Angeles Film Festival for a special showing of VALLEY GIRL on June 23.
A search at the LA Filmfest site
didn't prove to helpful, but it's possible they just haven't updated yet. Keep
checking my site, Debby's
and the Filmfest Sunday grid for more info.
05/20/2002
According over at DVDFile.com,
April Fool's Day will be released on
9/24/2002. The film will be a 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen
print with remixed 5.1 Dolby Surround. The suggested retail price is slated to be $24.95.
No word on extras or commentary.
05/18/2002
Sheesh! I've been asleep at the wheel I guess!!
According to her site, Debby will be appearing in a Long John Silvers commercial airing in the Los Angeles viewing area.
Also, she's answered 10 Questions over at Sports Hollywood.
04/13/2002
I have five new photos for your viewing pleasure.
04/04/2002
Debby has given her website a total makeover! Head on over and
check it out...
03/22/2002
DVDFile.com
has a nice little article
up about our favorite actress. In this article, it is mentioned Debby may be
working with Rutger Hauer this summer. She has confirmed this in a short note:
There is a new article over at DVDFILE.COM: Petition Place . It sorta states what is going on, but I will fill you in anyway. I am doing a short film with Rutger Hauer. We will shoot this summer in the states. I play his girlfriend. It is kinda like a Tales From the Crypt.. My
brother
has a role too. Jorg Bauer wrote the script and it is his directorial debut.
You can also sign this petition
to get Valley Girl
release onto DVD.
03/22/2002
As promised, here are the two publicity photos. Thanks to KC Clark for his
help with the coat photo. Click on the images for a larger view.

From DVDFile.com
...
"In better news, 6/11 also sees the DVD debut of the
80's favorite Real Genius, presented in both 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen
and full screen, with an English 2.0 surround track but no extras, not even the
trailer."
03/01/2002
I should have two Deborah Foreman publicity photos from the 1980s within the
next few weeks. Watch this space for more info.

News from Debby...
Hello there my friends,
To update you on the Chevy commercial...it has been on since November 2001 and
will be playing til March 2002. The one commercial turned into 16 commercials.
It was bought in many markets including cable and Spanish stations.
Have a beautiful day!!!
Debby Foreman
I've not had the chance to see the
commercial in question, but if anyone has please stop by here and post a description.
01/17/2002
I've just learned Debby's brother is in band called Fueled by Anger. You can
check them out here.
01/10/2002
...and we're back. Thanks to the hardworking cats at Rack Shack
the site is
back up for business. Some of the images may not have FTP'd properly. I'm
working like mad to fix any errors.
12/06/2001
Three more beautiful desktops. Thanks again, Brian.
11/27/2001
Brian Russo strikes again! Two more high-quality desktop wallpapers are now
available for your viewing pleasure.
11/21/2001
Just a small update on Debby 's upcoming film 'The Ice Age'. I've been told the
production is currently in the midst of a directorial change, but it should be a
positive step. Still no word on shoot/production/release dates. More as I find
out.
10/30/01
A swell guy by the name of Brian Russo has made a new desktop wallpaper for you
to enjoy. Click on the thumbnail below.
10/30/01
One of the posters at the official boards
has created a Deborah
Foreman Quiz! Thanks TynkerBelle for your hard work!

Great news from Debby!
Hey
beautiful people,
Good news!!! I booked another commercial for Chevrolet. We shoot on
Monday and Tuesday of next week.
Debby
9/25/01
I've gotten word from Debby that her page on AOL is suffering from a glitch of
some kind. AOL says it's there, but no one can seem to access it. You *can*
reach her at dforeman84@aol.com
in the meantime.
9/17/01
This is kinda old news, but there was a short article on Debby over at TV Guide's
Flick
Chick. I should mention the information about Debby voicing a character is an upcoming production is
incorrect and probably is why 21st Century Productions is considering a name
change for their upcoming production.
9/12/01
21 Century Production's website
has been updated to "officially" confirm Debby's attachment to the Ice
Age as well as the fact the title of the film "is going to be changed."
More information as it becomes available.
9/11/01
Debby visited the boards yesterday and let loose a great tidbit of information:
Hey there warm and yummy friends,
I have been getting loads of e-mail as of late because the ole VG is playing
again. I just want to THANK all those folks that took the time to share their
thoughts with me. I accept the kindness and warmth in which it was given.
I hope each and everyone has a beautiful day!!!
Debby
PS I am scheduled to attend the Chiller Theatre Convention at the end of October
2001. Check out their website at
www.chillertheatre.com
7/20/01
It seems the production company for The Ice Age has a preliminary website up and running as well as the following promotional artwork
:
Coupla quick messages from Debby over at the boards.
Hey there my friends,
On Sunday and Monday of this last week I shot an Apple Computer commercial. It
will air May 14. I had a blast on the shoot. Feels so good to be back on a set
again. Worked with some of the finest and classiest people to date.
Have a beautiful week everyone!
Debby
Hey there my friends,
Update on THE ICE AGE. We are now shooting in August with Daniel Baldwin and
Angie Everhart. This info is subject to change but as of right now...this is
what I have been told.
Go out and have a courageous day!!!
Debby
The folks over at Suite101.com were kind enough to do a "Where Are They Now?" article on Debby. You can find it here.
Here's a little item I came across while searching for Deborah Foreman items at Nostalgia. This is a paragraph from the Paramount press kit for April Fools Day (which was known as Slaughter High at one time!!)

Well it seems others out there in cyberspace have joined the crusade to put Debby onto an electronic pedestal!!
The incredibly-talented Kevin Smith showed his incredible taste in movies by making pop-culture reference to one of my favorite films in the second issue of "Jay & Silent Bob" (published by
Oni Press)

This prompted the lovely Ms. Foreman to pen the following letter!

Searching for the soundtrack to "Valley Girl" doesn't have to be an exercise in futility!! Rhino Records has released two compilations of the groovy tunes found in Deborah's most recognized films
